If a regular old G-Class isn’t fancy enough for you, Mercedes has blessed us with three limited edition versions to entice you. The three models are being made to show just how versatile the wagon can be. All of them will feature an embossed emblem representing Mercedes’ proving ground for off-vehicles, Schockl.

Schockl is a local mountain of Graz, a popular tourist destination featuring steep slopes and an extended plateau. Mercedes has been using the mountain to test cars since 1979. The three limited edition wagons, the G350d Limited Edition, G350d Professional Limited Edition and G500 Limited Edition, will proudly feature the Schockl emblem to go along with numbered “Limited Edition” inscriptions on its A-pillars.

The G350d Limited Edition is finished in design mocha black metallic with a Sport package that includes an outer protective strip with an exclusive brushed aluminum trim insert and 5-spoke AMG light-allow wheels in titanium grey. The interior also gets an upgrade with a two-tone saddle brown and black AMG Performance steering wheel, black design piano lacquer trim and Harman Kardon Logic 7 surround sound.

The G350d Professional Limited Edition comes in china blue with a unique steel front bumper, protective tail-light grills, and front mud flaps. The Professional Off-road package also includes a roof rack. The interior has exclusive fabric covering for the center of the seats which uses the same classic diamond design used in previous G-models.

Taking things a step further, the G500 Limited Edition is the flashiest of the bunch. Designo platinum Magno paint helps set off a stark contrast with several black add-on trim parts. There are three louvers on the radiator grille painted Magno black along with the spare wheel cover out back. This model comes with all the bells and whistles including heat-insulating dark-tinted glass for rear side and rear windows, TV tuner, heated windscreen, Active Distance Assist Distronic and more.

The interior is wrapped in black designo Nappa leather with white stitching. The AMG Performance steering wheel comes in black microfiber with Nappa leather. The trim shares the black design piano lacquer pattern.

Each of the special models will be limited to 463 units. The models are already available for ordering, expected to reach the showroom by January 2018.
