I don’t own anything that would be described as “tactical.” I have cargo shorts that at most I would call strategic. But, I would classify some of my EDC choices as clever, or even smart. The stuff I carry is far more appropriate for everyday life than being prepared to fight off an invasion of aliens or zombies—or even zombie aliens. I’ve mentioned that I own several multitools and a few pocket knives. But, most of the time I’m using them to cut the packing tape off of shipping boxes. You can call it a purse if you want, it doesn’t offend me. I like having a bag of stuff instead of looking like middle-aged-suburban-Batman trying to carry everything on my belt.
