Great news for government agencies and large families: the 2018 Ford Expedition will get a military grade aluminum-alloy body in 2017. This will allow the gigantic SUV to shed several hundred pounds and gain a few extra MPGs. The new Expedition will still use the turbocharged “EcoBoost” V6 found in the current F-150.
Uber has officially launched a fleet of self-driving cars in Pittsburgh. According to Uber, Pittsburgh is the perfect environment to test self-driving cars to the variety of weather conditions, small city streets, and intense traffic. Human drivers will still be in the driver’s seat (just in case intervention is needed) but this is definitely a big step in the right direction.
The real BatPod motorcycle is for sale, and it’s just as cool as you imagine. Powered by a 570cc Honda engine, the movie-famous motorcycle is expected to go for between $80,000 and $106,000.
