This Vintage Lightweight Bizzarrini Has All the Magic
Enlightenment is only a few million bucks away.

This is the one you’ve been waiting for. The classic racecar you've been aching over, even if you never realized it. This is a 1966 Bizzarrini Competition Lightweight Coupé, and it's goddamn perfect.
Background: Built in 1965, this Bizzarrini is the only right-hand-drive racecar ever turned out by the factory. Designed to be the ultimate example of Giotto Bizzarrini’s vision, its body panels are hewn from lightweight fiberglass, its chassis shaved of excess weight, and its rear suspension modified with the clever revision. It has known the hands of Sam Posey and Edgar Berney. It has battled its way across Sicily in the Targa Florio, slogged around Monza for mile after mile, and fought tooth-and-nail in the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Twice. And when Bizzarrini was swept by the cruel tides of bankruptcy in 1971, this car, Chassis No. BA4 0106, was tossed aside like so much garbage and mothballed for nearly four decades.
Salvation came in 2008, when David Hart restored BA4 0106 to the full glory of her 1966 Le Mans livery.
