Ford F-150 Raptor Power Levels Confirmed and Audi Bringing the RS3 To America: The Evening Rush.

The Evening Rush is your daily roundup of auto, gear, and lifestyle news, all in one place. Less time searching, more time driving. Motor on.

The rumors were correct: The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor will be equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 pumping out 450 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. of torque. Owners will see a mild increase in mpg to 15 city and 18 highway compared with the old V8-powered Raptor. Look for one on your local Ford lot soon, starting around $49,520.

In order to compete with the BMW M2, Audi has decided to bring the 2018 RS3 to America. Packing a turbocharged 2.5-liter inline-five, this sporty sedan will crush the pavement with 400 hp and 354 lb.-ft. of torque. That will launch the lightweight sedan to 62 miles per hour in just 4.1 seconds. Expect to see the vehicle terrorizing your local Cars and Coffee in the summer of 2017.

Ram has dropped the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 known as the Hellcat into the Rebel in order to produce a monstrously-powerful off-roader. Although the engine has been tuned down to 575 hp, coupled with Ram’s TorqueFlite eight-speed transmission, the Rebel TRX shoukld easily be able to scoot its way out of any hairy situation. Although this truck is just a concept, we can hope it'll become a production vehicle in the near future.

Smelling like garbage is a bummer—but feeling like it as well is a whole other ball game. If you come home from the gym feeling like you rolled around in a pile of trash, clean yourself up ith a bar of soap made of a nice mint-and-menthol blend. Duke Cannon has made a bar that envelops you in a wave of coolness, and it only costs $9.

Yeti Coolers has always done a fantastic job of making quality products that can withstand harsh conditions. Rather than letting accessories fall to the wayside, though, Yeti came out with the Brick—a 3three-quarter pound stainless steel bottle opener that could literally outlast the apocalypse.

Brooks is best known for solid running shoes, but they also do an awesome job with their athletic clothes. In order to combat the dropping temperature, the company has come out with the Spartan Pants III, a pair of 95 percent plyster pants designed to keep your legs toasty yet not too weighed down.

Upgrade your workouts with the 5.11 Tactical Plate Carrier. Very similar to the ballistic vests used in law enforcement and military applications, the 5.11 Tactical Plate Carrier conforms to your person and distributes the weight evenly across your upper body. Made of 500D nylon, the vest will withstand the test of time—and could become your favorite piece of workout gear.
