Five For Sale Friday
Five interesting rigs that would look pretty damn good in your driveway.
2002 FORD F-350
What Is It: A lifted Ford Super Duty with a six-door conversion and more electronics than your local Best Buy.
Why You Want It: If you haven’t had the best 2016 and/or are in desperate need for attention, this is the ultimate pick-me-up. On top of the obvious exterior upgrades, it has 12 12-inch subwoofers, 14 LCD screens and an interior that matches the body. It also seems like it’d be pretty fun to drive with the 7.3-liter Powerstroke diesel under the hood, four-wheel-drive and a manual transmission!
Current Price: $57,500.00
1991 GMC SYCLONE
What Is It: One of the fastest and most rare production trucks every built.
Why You Want It: If you’re looking for an all-original Syclone, this one isn’t the move. This GMC gem has had its 4.3-liter V6 completely re-worked and now puts down around 700-hp. With under 3000 Syclones ever built, this is an extremely rare truck and worth holding on to.
Current Price: $30,000.00
2015 CHEVY SILVERADO 2500HD
What Is It: A fully-loaded, lifted diesel on 26x14-inch wheels and 37-inch tires.
Why You Want It: For starters, the Silverado LTZ comes equipped to the teeth with navigation, sunroof and heated leather seats. Being a 2500HD, the Duramax 6.6-liter diesel mated to an Allison transmission allows you to pretty much haul anything out there. On top of that, you basically get a set of $10,000 wheels and tires for free at the current auction price. And don’t worry, thanks to the Cognito Motorsports lift, this LTZ probably rides better than factory.
Current Price: $62,300.00
2004 LANDROVER DISCOVERY
What Is It: A highly-capable, luxury SUV.
Why You Want It: If you’re into going off-road but need a dual-purpose vehicle to also drive daily, this may be the ticket. Inside, this Discovery has plush leather seats, power everything and even headrest-mounted DVD monitors. As for capability, it has a V8 under the hood, 4x4 with lockers and all the necessary Overlanding goodies.
Current Price: $16,999.00
2013 TOYOTA TUNDRA
What Is It: The ultimate full-size expedition truck.
Why You Want It: If you’re an Overlander or hope to be one and need a rig larger than a Tacoma, this truck is the one. It’s actually quite rare that to find a vehicle this equipped for sale as people usually hang on to them forever. In this case, the owner is purchasing a Sprinter for his expeditions and downsizing his truck to a Tacoma. The list of additions seems to go on forever but some of the highlights are the Icon Stage 5 suspension system, Expo One front and rear bumpers and the Adventure Trailer 2 drawer system out back.
Current Price: $47,000.00
