Buying power tools is a lot like speculating on the Stock Market. Prices are constantly in motion and hopefully, you buy in the dip. Maybe if I get some free time, I can make a tool ticker app. Then you can watch specific products you want, for the lowest prices. Until then, Hank I will keep banging out these deals posts. These savings on Ryobi are looking good it might be your time to buy, buy, buy!
If you’re new to the Ryobi world, you might consider something like this 6-tool combo kit for $298. For 300 bucks you’re getting six tools. Admittedly two of them you may not ever use for car projects, but more importantly, you’re getting four batteries. With this RYOBI ONE+ 18V 4.5-inch angle grinder kit, you also get a second battery for just $109.
The shop I worked in years ago used almost entirely air tools. We had this giant 120V AC reciprocating saw. It had a very distinct sound and you felt peak 80s action movie machine gun when holding it. It also happened to be the saw of shame. Whenever you heard it, you knew someone was cutting out a production error. But, you can use this 18V cordless reciprocating saw that’s only 80 bucks as a force for good. Or use it to remove the tubes and tabs you’ve welded in the wrong spot. It’s in your garage, nobody is there to whistle and jeer when you fire it up.
