The Parker 425 has been around for decades and truck racing in Arizona’s deserts has been a staple of the region for even longer. Under the supervision of the Best in the Desert Racing Association, the event has grown considerably every year with around 200 entries this year alone.
Team Toyo driver Andy McMillin began the race in 16th place. A considerable number of participants ultimately dropped out due to the harsh terrain and conditions. By the third lap, it was clear McMillin would be victorious.
McMillian’s rig took the win with help from a set of 39-inch Toyo Open Country M/T-R tires, Fox shocks and Method Race Wheels.
