This week, Tesla announces its Master Plan, Part Deux, which includes a defense of Autopilot, plus plans for a semi truck and a mini bus. Embattled Fiat Chrysler Automobiles gets a knock on the door from both the Department of Justice and the Securities and Exchange Commission over suspicion of fudged sales numbers, perhaps linked to allegations from a civil lawsuit earlier this year that the company paid dealers to falsify New Vehicle Delivery reports. And finally, two-time Formula 1 world champion Fernando Alonso expresses frustration and boredom with the sport that made him a superstar, saying the current tire strategy and overall package make driving the car too easy, and doesn't allow drivers to "attack."
