NASCAR Camping World truck series two-time champ Matt Crafton easily held off Sprint Cup interloper Kyle Busch to take the North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Crafton’s second straight win of the season.

Fellow truck series full-timer Johnny Sauter was third in a comparatively uneventful fuel-mileage race, at least compared to the Sprint Showdown that preceded it. Both the Showdown and the truck race were supposed to run Friday night, but were rained out.

Busch had a bad pit stop and a resulting penalty that sent him back to 27th, and watching him work his way up to second was the highlight of the race. Crafton, 39, and his number 88 Menards Toyota remain in the points lead.

Still to go at Charlotte: The Sprint All-Star race, scheduled for 9 p.m. tonight.
