Patrick George is the former Editorial Director over Recurrent Ventures’ automotive and military publications, departing in 2022. He oversaw The Drive, Car Bibles, The War Zone and Task & Purpose. Previously Editor-in-Chief of the car website Jalopnik, he’s a longtime reporter and editor and a lifelong car enthusiast and amateur mechanic. He’s based in upstate New York.

When he’s not working, Patrick loves reading new fiction, geeking out over music and retro video games. He’s also gotten into DIY house repair, but he is very bad at it.
