A series of hacking stories has put FCA on the defensive—so it’s going for a good offense.
On today's installment of Drive Wire, The Drive discusses the news that Fiat Chrysler Automotive will be offering cash rewards to hackers who find weaknesses in the carmaker's vehicles and bring them to FCA's attention. The program offers enterprising white-hat hackers up to $1,500 for any points of entry they find and submit to the carmaker through bugcrowd.com.
