The Evening Rush is your daily roundup of auto, gear, and lifestyle news, all in one place. Less time searching, more time driving. Motor on.

Automotive

Spy shots of the 2017 Porsche Panamera have leaked. The new Panamera will be on the MSB platform and will shed a respectable 200 pounds when all is said and done. Still, the cosmetic changes are rather minor (like, new headlights).

Cadillac will be debuting a “black chrome” edition of the popular ATS and CTS. That means the popular sedans and coupes will be getting black rims, grille, and rear fascia. Essentially, this is just skipping a "murdering-out" step for young Caddy buyers.

Mercedes-Benz plans to preview pickup concept at the Paris Auto Show this October. Unfortunately, it's still unclear whether or not anyone wants a Mercedes-Benz pickup truck—and also whether it will make its way to the United States.

Gear

Home projectors are awesome but usually several thousand dollars if you want to get even near the 1080p realm. Until now. The JmGO G1 is $500 and jam-packed with cool features like surround sound. You should get one—you deserve it!

Time to cut out the middleman—your iPhone—in the video-streaming process. The Sioeye Iris4G allows user to livestream their latest escapades directly to Sioeye app for everyone to watch. Cool? Yes. Risky? Probably.

Lifestyle

Today’s beer pick takes us to Willimantic Brewing Company in Willimantic, Connecticut. This little brewpub proves that you don’t need endless warehouses to produce solid beer. Just some passionate people and an old post office. Grab a pint if you're in central Connecticut.

It may be a little late to order Saint Patrick’s Day gear, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try. Needlepoint belts have been around forever and as far as we're concerned they'll never go out of style. Do yourself a favor and pick up the Four Leaf Clover Needlepoint Belt from Tucker Blair.
