Everyone wants to be the main character and you can make that happen by giving them an action camera this holiday season. This time of year, all the big names in the business have cameras on sale with some pretty significant discounts. No matter your preference there’s probably something for you on sale right now. I’m happy to keep your hunt short, though, as I’ve got all the best Holiday deals on action cameras right here.
The most recent camera I tested was from Insta360. You can check out my review of the Ace Pro 2 if you want. Long story short, I find how well it works is really impressive. The image quality is amazing. It’s super easy to use, and maybe most importantly for an action camera, it’s built like a tank. A sample of the video I recorded with it is embedded below. This particular model is not on sale, but it does make a great gift. That said, it’s predecessor, the Ace Pro, is currently on sale for $299.99 at Best Buy.
I’ve also included cameras from DJI, and GoPro, the two other big players. It’s hard to lose with any of these and some of it comes down to personal preference. The GoPro Hero is one of the newer models and its party trick is how small it is. Right now the tiny cam is only $179.99, which is the least expensive on the list. At the other end of the spectrum is the Insta360 X4 which is a true 360-degree camera that gets that “bullet-time” view and also lets you stick the camera on your car and capture everything, all at once. With the editing software, you can determine what you want to focus on or which direction you want to look. It’s on sale for $424.99. At the bottom, I also found a couple of suction mounts that are currently on sale.
