Drive Wire: The Year of Dieselgate
The biggest scandal in years.
Since Dieselgate started in September, there has been a lot of bad press regarding Volkswagen Auto Group and understandably so. After the illegal software was exposed, the auto manufacturing giant had their CEO, Martin Winterkorn, step down, massive cutbacks took place and there is still a dark cloud looming over the tainted German brand. Although it is unclear how Dieselgate will come to a close, we do know there is still a long bumpy road ahead.
