The Hunt Heads East
A real-world scavenger hunt with an Alfa Romeo 4C at the end. You can find it.
There’s no better way to see a car’s true mettle than putting it through its paces on a road trip. Follow us on a five part journey across America in the Alfa 4C Spider, be the first person to find the car and post a picture on Twitter with #huntfor4c, and #contest for a chance to win a two-year lease for an Alfa Romeo 4C and find out for yourself what its like to get behind the wheel.
The Hunt is on.
Here’s the story: We’re going on an epic road trip in the new Alfa Romeo 4C. And when we’re done, we’re going to leave the car somewhere between Los Angeles and New York. We’ll post clues, hints and tips for all to see in the Hot Laps newsletter, the review videos and in social media: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
This is a contest, a game of skill. The skill here is working the clues, getting up off the couch and going out on the road yourself to find the car. The first person to find the Alfa Romeo 4C and prove it by crossing the prize claim line, tweeting a photo of themselves with the Alfa, with the hashtag #huntfor4c, #contest and @thedrive, and meeting all requirements, as stated in the official rules, will win the contest.
What do you win? The Drive will pay for a two-year lease on a brand new Alfa Romeo 4C, tax and title included, an almost $40,000 value. That’s what you get. And if you win the contest and you don’t want the car, you’ll have the option of an alternate cash prize instead.
That’s how it works in plain English. A full set of entry details and official rules is available here.
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. The Hunt Contest is open to residents of the 50 US and D.C., age 18 or older. Void where prohibited. Contest begins at 12:00:01 AM ET on 11/30/15 and ends at 11:59:59 PM ET on 12/11/15. Contest Vehicle available to be found starting on 12/4/15. For entry details and Official Rules, see thedrive.com/channel/the-hunt. Sponsor: TI Media Solutions Inc., 225 Liberty St., New York, NY 10281.
