Hero of the Day: No. 14

“Fast” Eddie Castro, who’s still going fast. That’s in spite of a Stage III T2N2 cancer diagnosis in Mar. of this year. In Apr., Eddie started treatment: radiation five days per week for six weeks, chemo every day for another six weeks, and romiplostim injections, too. Tough. After the eight months of all that, dude’s still getting at it; Fast Eddie was up last Sunday, up on his bike, skidding around. Hero.
