Cadillac will be dropping the base engine on the 2017 ATS in hopes of boosting struggling sales. The ATS will now come standard with its 2.0-liter four-cylinder making 272-hp, as well as additional interior luxuries, like a Bose stereo system and an 8-inch display. When all is said and done, the new starting price will jump to $35,590—however, higher trim levels will actually see a small decrease in price.

The feature lets owners absolutely destroy a set of tires without any driving skill whatsoever. GM added the feature as a way to heat up the 640-hp track monster before it does a quarter-mile run, but we're sure most drivers will use it to lay down rubber by the Dairy Queen.
