By now, we know that the 2018 E-Class will have a facade of next-gen technology. We wouldn’t expect anything less from Benz, after all. But even then, it looks like the new model will be especially impressive in terms of safety, luxury, and self driving. Along with Tesla, they’ve been leading the way in autonomy research, so all of the computeristic goodies that come along with it should follow suit as well.
In this video, we get a glimpse at a few features that are exclusive to the new E-Class. The stunning cockpit certainly sets the tone for the rest of the video, unveiling the futuristic center-stack display. This screen controls a variety of functions including audio, navigation, and comfort features like massaging seats, ambient lighting, and climate. Car-to-car communication also peaks it’s head up with driving and safety aids.
