Today in Design we take a look at the Smart Remote. Rather than filling countless drawers with remotes to control the various electronic devices throughout your house, condense things down to one smart remote. Using a small high-definition touchscreen, the Smart Remote is compatible with over 25,000 devices and can easily control your lights, media, thermostat, speakers and so much more.
Plus, when you are leaving the house, you can even order an Uber through the device.
The Smart Remote uses unique proximity technology that allows users to just point and shoot. If you want to close the garage door, just point in its general direction and click close. If you are looking to turn up the heat, point at the thermostat. You get the point.
Currently on Kickstarter, the Smart Remote is going for approximately $149 and is expected for delivery in July of 2017.
