Hero of the Day: Roadside Rodin
You can keep the reclaimed, artisanal mayonnaise jars, Brooklyn. But we’ll take the car sculptures.
These guys, who recycle. This photo was snapped off Prospect Ave. in front of a local Meineke, where the owner and employees build sculptures from scrap mufflers, cats, resonators and pipe. The Muffler Man first, almost a decade ago, and now a whole family go along with him. Wife. Dog. Seven children. Brooklyn is a better place for the guys at this shop, and The Drive salutes them. Heroes.
