Popular RV Destinations in Las Vegas

Fremont Street Experience

Head to old downtown Las Vegas and make your way to Fremont Street. This pedestrian-only area is a five-block section of the street covered by a canopy and perfect for hanging out and experiencing Vegas.

Every night a stunning show of choreographed lights and music take place overhead on the canopy. Then street performers and unique entertainment acts will delight and entertain you and your family.

Be sure to take a ride on the Zipline or Zoomline. The Zipline is seven stories high as you fly over the crowd in a seated position for two blocks. The Zoomline is 11 stories high and has you flying superman style over the crowd for the entire five blocks.

If this is too adventurous for you, there are plenty of other things to do, including live music shows, shopping, casinos, and restaurants.

Mob Museum

Las Vegas and the mob have been synonymous with each other from the beginning. This museum celebrates that relationship and the influence the mob had on making Vegas the adult playground that it is today. Its official name is the National Museum of Organized Crime and Law Enforcement and is housed in a 1933 neoclassical building and former U.S. Post Office and Courthouse.

You’ll make your way through interactive displays and watch video clips that tell the story of the mob in America. Exhibits will focus on individuals and the overall culture that influenced America during the mob’s most powerful times.

Be sure to check out the special experiences such as the crime lab experience, distillery tour and tasting, or firearm training simulator.

Neon Museum

The neon signs of the strip have been a staple and one of the city’s most memorable features. But what happens when the signs get taken down or replaced? They make their way to the Neon Museum.

Take the guided tour through the immense outdoor compound and learn about the history of individual signs and their design trends. The museum is in the process of preserving and restoring many of the signs, so you’ll see varying conditions. Some are restored to their full glory, while others are a decayed fraction of what they once were.

This museum is extremely popular for photoshoots, which can affect the hours that it’s open. Be sure to buy your tickets in advance.
