Automotive
According to recent reports, the monstrous 2017 BMW M760i XDrive will start at $154,795. That massive pricetag will get you 6.0 liter twin-turbocharged V12 with 601-hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. That’s enough to get the Bavarian sedan to 60 mph in just 3.6 seconds. In addition, M performance-tuned steering, braking, and suspension ensure you can do more than just go fast.
Making its debut as a concept truck in 2014, the Chevy Colorado ZR2 is finally becoming a reality. Yesterday marked its first appearance as a production truck at the 2016 L.A. Auto Show. Why is the ZR2 is an off roader’s dream? Although the 2.8 liter Duramax diesel is a great attribute, the real attraction is the Dynamic Suspension Spool Valve shocks and the 3.5” widening of the truck. When all is said and done, the new ZR2 is essentially a miniature Ford Raptor with the same amount of fun.
The time has finally come, Mercedes-Maybach has debuted the S650 Cabriolet. Although plenty of people would happily throw their money at this 621-horsepower, 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 drop-top, Mercedes-Maybach has announced that only 75 S650s will grace our shores.
Gear
I totally understand that only a certain kind of person may need a wind-up watch case but chances are your dad (or you, no judgements), may have enough watches to take advantage of such an item. A company called Travelteq has started producing a handsome watch roller made of vegetable tanned leather with an alcantara interior. A solid gift for someone this upcoming holiday season? Perhaps.
If you are in the market for a sneaker duffel to keep your stinky gym shoes in then stop looking. The Portland Sneaker Duffel is the perfect size to fit two or three pairs of shoes and still have enough room to carry your laptop and additional gear along for the ride. Made of a variety of durable weatherproof fabrics, the Portland Duffel will keep undesirable smells in and the weather out.
Lifestyle
Before the season is officially over, head over to Steep & Cheap to see their sale on fly-fishing gear. They have everything from waders to rods to bags on sale and most of it is 40-50 percent off.
