Cadillac is expanding its electric vehicle lineup by adding a third EV. Sneaking in just before the calendar strikes 2024 is the electric 2026 Cadillac Vistiq SUV.

The Vistiq will sit in between the existing Lyriq and the upcoming Escalade IQ, all three of which sit above the newly announced, entry-level Optiq. However, the Vistiq will likely be closer to the Escalade IQ, in terms of size, as it’s said to be a luxury three-row SUV. It also looks rather big and boxy, unlike the sleek and almost wagon-like Lyriq.

It wears the corporate electric Cadillac face, though, so from the front it’s hard to distinguish it from its sibling. Out back, its taillights split, with larger lamps on the rear fenders and slim L-shaped lights on the rear window, and it looks pretty cool. Overall, it’s a handsome design that combines old-school and new-school Cadillac.

No specs were revealed, so there’s currently no word on battery specs, driving range, power figures, performance deets, or price. However, given the “600E4” badge on its tailgate, it’s likely that it will offer the same dual-motor, all-wheel drive powertrain as the Lyriq with 500 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. In the Lyriq, that dual-motor powertrain offers 307 miles of claimed range, though the Vistiq could get less due to its larger size.

While the Vistiq is built on GM’s Ultium platform and doesn’t share any mechanical components with any of its internal combustion cars, it seems like the Vistiq is the electric equivalent of the XT6.

There’s no word on when the Vistiq will go on sale but it will be sold as a 2026 model year, so chances are we won’t see it on the streets for a bit.
