Rod Emory is one of those enigmatic characters in the Porsche world that strives toward goals with tenacity, and forges his own path. He doesn't do things in half-measures, and when he stands behind something, you can be assured of it's quality. This electric bicycle project, then, must be something really special. Working with Vintage Electric, they've crafted a gorgeous new two-wheeled craft that carries some of the style and verve of a genuine Emory Outlaw. Not only does this bike have a classic hand-crafted quality, it's also got a thoroughly modern drivetrain. The perfect recipe for an Outlaw. 

Electric bikes and vintage hot rod Porsches don't seem like the most natural of bedfellows at first, but when you think long and hard about it, it doesn't require much in the way of mental gymnastics to figure it out. The more cynical among us would chastise Rod for a simple cash grab, but when you inspect the quality of one of these Vintage Electric bikes, and look at the details included on this setup, you'll change your mind. Quality knows quality, and from start to finish these bikes look like an absolute riot to drive. 

The "Tracker" bike has a 35-mile range, and is capable of up to 36 miles per hour. Even better, the battery can be fully charged in just two hours. This drivetrain works in a properly modern manner with technology advanced enough to incorporate regenerative braking. Admittedly, you can get into a "Tracker" bike for a bit less without the Emory style bits, but why would you want to?
