Vorsteiner Relaunches Its V-CSL Line of E46 BMW M3 Carbon Body Parts

Huntington Beach, California-based aftermarket automotive company Vorsteiner recently announced the re-introduction of a line of carbon products for the venerable E46 BMW M3, and I'm beyond stoked. Dubbed the V-CSL Carbon Fiber Program, this line is comprised of a front bumper, trunk lid, center console, and rear diffuser. This company may be known for its wheels, but it does bodywork quite well, too.
All of it is designed to resemble the ultra-rare E46 M3 CSL, too, a car that was sadly never sold in the USA. And just look at Vorsteiner's photos. Gorgeous.
If you want your own E46 M3 to stand out, these won't be around for long … if they all haven't already been spoken for, as Vorsteiner says it's limiting production to just 103 units.
Each piece is hand-crafted of the brand's 1X1 weaved pre-preg autoclaved carbon fiber, and pricing sure mirrors that. But then, the pieces are of very high quality, and it's quite cool that they're made in-house in Southern California. The reintroduction isn't for anything, either—it's to mark the brand's 20-year anniversary.
The Carbon Fiber Center Console starts off pricing at $995, followed by the Aero Rear Diffuser at $1,495, Aero Bootlid at $2,395, and finally Aero Front Bumper at $2,695.
None of these are small changes. But then, they're a homage to one of the coolest factory BMW creations, ever. Especially to Americans' eyes, who never had the chance to gawk at one on their local showroom's floor. Plus, in these wild times of BMW exterior design that we're living through, I think focusing on the brand's greatest hits is a very cool thing to do.
It also makes perfect sense that Vorsteiner went with this kit to celebrate 20 years—what a heck of an era to start out in.
