Watch a Lamborghini Miura Dash Through the Snow

Lamborghini all-wheel-drive shenanigans before Lambos went all-wheel-drive.

Ever since Audi took over Lamborghini, the majority of its models have been all-wheel drive, leading to Huracans and Gallardos that can easily play in white-out winter conditions. Today's awesome supercar video, however, shows that snowy shenanigans are still possible with a simpler—albeit much more expensive—breed of Lambo. Namely, a Miura. And not just any Miura, at that. According to Autoweek, this particular Miura belongs, or at least once belonged, to the Shah of Iran.

Kidston, a classic car consultant firm from Switzerland, created this seven minute short film that acts as tribute to the Shah, his car, and Enzo Moruzzi—the man that was responsible for delivering new Lambos to its most high-profile clients for nearly four decades.

It starts out with a short, slightly cheesy yet charming exchange between Moruzzi and his "grandson," but trust me, the hoonage that follows is worth it.

Turns out, all you need to snow drift a rear-drive Lambo are appropriate tires and one hell of an insurance policy.

The Miura was first introduced in 1966 and is widely considered to be a key pioneer—if not the key pioneer—of supercars as we know it today. It was the genesis of the ongoing line of V12 Lamborghini flagships/bedroom posters, a list that consists of the Countach, Diablo, Murcielago, and Aventador.
