24h Series At COTA Part 1: Qualifying And Day 1
The Creventic 24h Series ran at COTA last weekend, and we were there to capture it in photos.
The Creventic 24h series is an international endurance racing series for sportscars. It's relatively new and is a unique blend of the things that make IMSA, Pirelli World Challenge and World Endurance Championship racing great.
A blend of private and factory teams mix professional IMSA and PWC drivers with gentleman drivers to run 24 hours in a format that features 14 hours of racing on day one, an 8 hour break and 10 hours of racing on day 2.
The field has 7 classes ranging from GT3 beasts from Mercedes, Porsche and Aston Martin to the A2 class Honda Civic Si. This means plenty of passing and exciting action on the track.
Our first look covers qualifying and the daytime portion of day 1. Part 2 covers the night segment and the 10 hours of racing on Sunday.
