# Tommy Hilfiger’s Flawless Ferrari Enzo Is For Sale

Modern life affords us only three sureties: death, taxes, and celebrity-owned vehicles pulling a premium at auction. This year’s been a particularly good one for automobiles with A-list pedigree. Paul Newman’s [Porsche 935 racecar](<https://www.thedrive.com/article/5058/adam-carolla-buys-paul-newmans-porsche-935-for-4-4-million>), John Lennon’s [Austin Princess](<https://www.thedrive.com/vintage/4581/you-can-buy-john-lennons-1956-austin-princess-hearse>), Jerry Seinfeld's [expansive collection](<https://www.thedrive.com/vintage/2564/an-interview-with-david-gooding-the-man-who-sold-20m-worth-of-seinfelds-collectibles>). Looks like the trend will continue into next year, too: Tommy Hilfiger’s Ferrari is headed to auction.

Slated to be offered in January at [RM Sotheby’s Arizona sale](<https://www.rmsothebys.com/az17/arizona/lots/2003-ferrari-enzo/1690734>), the fashion icon’s 2003 Enzo hypercar should bring a mint. Even without Hilfiger’s name attached, it’s a seriously rare bird. Ferrari built just 399 examples of the Enzo (excluding a one-off for the Pope) between 2002 and 2004.

This one, No. 50152, has seen less than 3,700 miles since leaving Maranello thirteen years ago. The mid-mounted, 660-hp, 6.0-liter V12 is just getting broken in. The rest of the car? It might as well be a time capsule. Everything looks… perfect. Every bit as clean as the [other Enzo currently for sale](<https://www.jamesedition.com/cars/ferrari/enzo/2003-for-sale-1238657>) in the U.S., which has just 594 miles on the odometer.
