Kelley Blue Book’s 10 Best New-Car Deals for December

Picks for standout new-car lease, financing and cash-back deals for those hunting for 2017 models.

Bargain hunters looking for 2017 models and end-of-year deals might want to check out a list compiled by Kelley Blue Book and released Tuesday.

The Honda Civic ranks at the top of the list for December shopping for lease deals. With a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $20,430 and a fair purchase price of $18,480, it comes with a lease term of 36 months, a monthly payment of $169 and a down payment $1,999.

Ranking second is the Kia Sportage, with a suggested retail price of $24,095 and a fair price of $22,586. The Sportage has a lease term of 36 months, a $199 monthly payment and requires $2,399 down at the time of signing.

Next up under lease deals but ranking fourth overall is the Kia Optima, which also has a suggested price tag of $24,095 and a fair price of $21,476. Its leasing terms are 24 months, a monthly payment of $179 and $1,999 down.

The Toyota Highlander lands fourth for leasing deals and in the eighth spot overall. It comes with a suggested price of $36,020 and a fair cost of $32,839. It has a 36-month lease term, a $329 monthly payment and requires $,1999 down.

The top pick for cash back and financing deals and placing third overall, the Honda Accord retails for $23,345, has a fair price of $20,499 and comes with 0.9 percent financing.

Up next for cash back and financing is the Chevrolet Impala. Fifth on the list overall, it has a suggested retail price of $28,175 and a fair price of $26,628. It offers 3.9 percent financing plus $2,000 cash back.

The Honda Pilot places sixth. It retails for a suggested $31,720 and has a fair value, i.e. what others are paying, of $29,274, and comes with 0.9 percent financing.

Seventh overall is the Ford Expedition. It has a suggested retail price of $48,320, fair value of $44,860 and offers $7,000 cash back.

One rung from the bottom of the best list is the Chevrolet Tahoe, with a suggested price of $48,510, a fair price of $44,401 and 3.9 percent financing.

Tenth on the list is the Ford F-10, with a suggested retail price of $39,035, a fair price of $35,318 and 0 percent financing.

The 10 picks for standout new-car lease, financing and cash back deals are available at least through January 2, 2018.
