Spoleto Festival USA

Founded by the Pulitzer Prize-winning composure Gian Carlo Menotti in 1977, the Spoleto Festival celebrates artists. Each spring, internationally renowned and emerging artists gather in Charleston for this event. The city’s most historic churches, theaters, and outdoor spaces host countless performances. 

This is your chance to see jazz musicians, dancers, opera, cabaret, musical theater, and theater performances from some of the best performers in the world. You can also attend several artist talks where you have a chance to hear directly from and interact with the performers.

Campgrounds and Parks in South Carolina 

Oak Plantation Campground
