There’s no need to wait for Black Friday/Cyber Monday if you’re looking to score some tool deals right now. Amazon is running some great pricing on DeWalt and Craftsman tool sets this week. You can also find really aggressive discounts on Leatherman and Gerber multitools, plus name-brand pliers and other accessories.
Amazon Tool Kit Deals
40% off: Craftsman 262-Piece Mechanic Tool Set for $149.00 (normally $249)
47% off: DeWalt 192-Piece Mechanic Tool Set for $152.99 (normally $289.99)
49% off: Stanley 201-Piece Tool Set for $69.97 (normally $137.99)
36% off: DeWalt 142-Piece Mechanic Tool Set for $112.49 (normally $175.99)
If you’re trying to decide between those similar kits … I think the DeWalt stuff is heavier-duty, but the Craftsman kit comes with more items and has a more practical storage case. The Stanley brand is one click lower-tier, but it’s solid and at $70 for a 201-piece kit it’s objectively the best bargain by far.
Multitool Deals
Everybody needs a multitool … or two, in case one goes missing. They also make excellent gifts, as long as you get a decent brand (like Leatherman and Gerber).
29% off: Leatherman Wingman for $49.95 (normally $69.95)
An affordable full-featured EDC multitool with one-hand opening blade, spring-action pliers and scissors. Plus, of course, the classic Leatherman look.
10% off: Gerber Suspension NXT 15-in-1 Multitool for $36.00 (normally $39.99)
A lot of tool for the money.
Speciality Tool Deals
Here are some nice brand-name buys if you’ve already got the basics covered.
37% off: Knipex 3-Piece Plier Kit (7, 10, and 12-Inch Set) for $119.13 (normally $187.74)
You don’t realize how nice it is to use high-end pliers until you have a pair in your hands.
29% off: Craftsman Versastack Mechanics Tool Set, 71 Piece for $49.98 (normally $69.98)
A super portable mini-kit!
15% off Klein Tools 54823MB MODbox 3-Drawer Tool Box Organizer for $169.98 (normally $199.98)
Not a huge discount, but these are really nice drawers. Klein’s MODbox might actually be my favorite mass-market tool storage system.
