Do you love the [C8 Corvette](<https://www.thedrive.com/news/flipping-2023-c8-corvette-z06s-might-not-be-such-a-great-idea-anymore>)? What about Jet Skis? If you answered yes to both of those questions, then I have some good news for you. At this very moment, you have the chance to buy a combination of both of those things. It's called a JetCar and it's a two-seat boat/Jet Ski hybrid that looks like a Corvette from Wish and is currently up for auction from [Boats and Buyers](<https://www.boatsandbuyers.com/boat-details/208>).

This JetCar 'Vette' is made by JetCar USA, the Hollywood, Florida-based manufacturer of these two-seat, supercar lookalike Jet Skis. It's powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder Yamaha engine that makes 180 horsepower. That might sound like a far cry from the Corvette's 495 horsepower but the JetCar only weighs around 1,200 pounds.

Like all JetCars, this aquatic Corvette comes equipped with headlights, taillights, a navigation system, windshield wipers, and a six-speaker Bluetooth sound system. It's 15 feet long, its body is made from fiberglass, and it has a giant rear wing.

This specific one is red with black accents, black "wheels," and what seems to be some carbon fiber cabin trim. According to the listing, there are no hours on the engine yet, so it hasn't been used. If you like this idea but don't like Corvettes, JetCar has other supercar lookalike models you can choose from, such as the Bugatti Chiron, a Porsche 911, and a Lamborghini Aventador.

At the time of writing this, the JetCar 'Vette' has a current bid of $6,000 and there are still three days left on the auction. It's hard to say what this aquatic Corvette lookalike will end up eventually selling for, as I'm not sure there's market data on such tings. But if you're interested, slap on your polarized Oakleys, grab your Yeti cooler, put in a winning bid, and hit the water.

## Author
Nico is a writer and reviewer from New Jersey who probably thinks he’s a lot funnier than he actually is. His love of cars began when he was just a kid playing Gran Turismo 3, grinding out enough race wins with a Mazda Miata to save up for an in-game RUF 911. That passion for small, lightweight sports cars drove his desire to learn more about the industry, get his hands on as many cars as he could, and bring those experiences to life on the page. He cut his teeth writing about BMWs, Volkswagens, and Audis, mostly, and has owned far too many of each. He’s on his fourth 3 Series sedan, but all of his old, cheap German cars have forced him to learn more about car maintenance than his mechanical capability can handle. Too many late nights have been spent scrambling to get a car running by morning so he could get to work. For some reason, he never seems to learn that old Bimmers probably aren’t the best daily drivers. But he loves more than just old German cars. He’ll gladly drive and discuss anything with four (or even three) wheels. Cars aren’t his only passions, though. Nico is also a big nerd and loves movies, video games, comic books, and cares far too much about the New York Giants. So don’t be surprised if you see football references or dumb, obscure movie quotes in any of his car reviews.
