Here’s the Catch ![2027 Ford F-150 Raptor]() *\Byron Hurd\* If you're in the market for an off-road [Ford]() F-150 but have been put off by the high cost of entry, especially in recent years, Ford finally has some good news for you. Both the [2027 F-150]() Tremor and [F-150 Raptor]() are getting cheaper—but of course, there's a catch. Ford isn't simply slashing prices on its Tremor and Raptor trims. Instead, it's expanding them to include stripped down models aimed at getting the fun stuff into the hands of a broader audience. Ford hasn't completely broken down pricing on the 2027 Tremor or Raptor models yet, but the company did outline exactly how these less feature-rich Raptor and Tremor models will be configured. [Tremor]()'s new base package swaps dual-zone AC for manual climate control; loses the heated front seats, running boards, and fancy steering wheel (you get the standard STX wheel instead); and swaps its eight-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system for a basic, six-speaker system. You're also stuck with a fixed rear glass instead of a sliding window. Total savings for the customer? More than $5,000, Ford says. ![]() ![]() ![]() Our new entry-level Raptor ditches its HUD, fog lamps (you just get holes in the front bumper; no joke), "Mobile Office" package, power passenger seat, and under-seat storage. The power adjustable steering column is gone too, replaced with a manual tilting column. The 14-speaker audio system is swapped out for the eight-speaker B&O unit, and it also loses the 2kW Pro Power Onboard feature. You still get a 400-watt bed outlet. It's not as badly stripped as the barebones Tremor, but it's pretty close. ![]() ![]() ![]() Like the new base-model Tremor, this cheaper Raptor comes with a pruned MSRP. The cheapest 2027 F-150 Raptor will set you back $80,595 with destination—about $4,000 less than the base 2026. Ford stressed that it didn't remove any functional off-road equipment from either model.
