I sure didn't, but fortunately for the fans out there, [Honda]() has its finger on the pulse of the worldwide monster-collecting community, and to mark the occasion this year, the company teased what it calls the "Honda Koraidon Project." It's a one-off concept bike based on a legendary fighting/dragon-type ninth-gen Pokémon, and it's pretty wild. In a rare moment of corporate neutrality, Honda says the Koraidon Project was partially inspired by [Toyota](), which celebrated Pokémon Day in 2024 with the [Miraidon](). Honda's effort here is every bit as wild, embracing the game's aesthetic with bold, true-to-lore colors, and aggressively sculpted components. The bike is even the exact same size as the "real" Koraidon, measuring eight-foot-two and 668 pounds, just as the monster does according to [the online Pokédex](). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ryoEWpD9NMg ![]() ![]() "As the story progresses, Koraidon regains its abilities while traveling with the main character, such as walking on four legs (Limited Build), running by using its strong limbs (Sprinting Build), swimming at high speed (Swimming Build), and gliding in the sky (Gliding Build), to carry its rider to many places." Honda calls the project an example of "future mobility." Not only would it function as a motorcycle, but Honda says it can mimic the evolution of the monster itself, transforming into some of those very builds. It can even "stand" on its legs by utilizing built-in self-balancing technology keeping it upright regardless of configuration. Koraidon's hands, neck, face, and legs would all move as the bike increases speed; Honda even wants the eyes and eyelids to move as Koraidon accelerates. ![]() ![]() However, for the time being, the Koraidon Project will remain a stationary exhibit.
