The new supercharger kit works on all standard 6.2-liter (L87 EcoTech3) GM V8 engines offered in the [Chevy Silverado]() and GMC Sierra. From the factory, those V8-powered trucks make 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, but Hennessey's kit bumps them up to 650 hp and 658 lb-ft. What exactly does a 230-hp kit include? For starters, a 3.0-liter supercharger is accompanied by a high-flow intake, high-flow intercooler, a crankcase ventilation system, and chromoly pushrods. That comes with a new steel front bumper, an LED light bar, off-road suspension, 20-inch wheels, and 35-inch off-road tires. While there are off-road-ready versions of the Silverado too, only the Sierra AT4 gets the Goliath Off-Road package. However, the normal Goliath 650 kit is offered on all 6.2-liter V8 Silverado and Sierra models. Hennessey didn't reveal any pricing just yet, nor did it say when this kit will be available, but all of the aforementioned upgrades come with a three-year, 36,000-mile warranty. If anyone already owns an existing V8 Silverado or Sierra, this allows them to essentially upgrade to a performance version of their truck without having to trade it in for a new one.
