The Springtime sun is pouring through the blinds on my window as I’m writing, and it’s making me want to get outside. But I’ll finish this EDC deal’s post first because you guys need to see the savings on all this everyday carry gear. BladeHQ has some awesome deals on knives in all different price ranges. You can also load up on some tools from BHQ, but I went to one of our favorites, Coast, for some smokin’ deals on Flashlights starting under 10 bucks.
If you’re looking for a functional, dependable pocket knife that you aren’t afraid to use in tough situations, it’s going to be hard to beat this Gerber FAST Draw Tanto Knife for just $19.99. It’s got a 3-inch, 7Cr17MoV with black titanium-nitride coating. It’s an assisted opening knife with a textured nylon handle. This isn’t knife that you’ll show-off in a case at home, but after a few years, every mark on it will tell a story.

There are a few more knives that are in the affordable and dependable category below. The SOG Aegis Frame Lock Knife Stainless Steel is just $16.99. This is the kind of knife that’ll provide years of service, and it’s inexpensive enough that someone like me might buy it just to learn how to sharpen my own blades. I know you guys love the Gerber FlatIron Cleaver Frame Lock Knife. You guys buy a ton of these every time I find them on sale like this. A bargain at $24.99

If you’ve read my EDC reviews, you know I prefer to carry mini tools instead of multitools. With that said, I know you guys like them, so there’s a Gerber Truss down there, and it’s under 30 bucks. I also found this cool little hex driver with bits from CRKT. It has an aluminum body with 6 Torx bits inside. It’s made for knife maintenance, but you can use other bits to make it more useful for EDC. If you do want something bigger, the Wiha GoBox is probably what you’re after. It’s $37.55 and will turn you into a mega mobile MacGyver.

I’ve tested a couple of Coast flashlights, both of them pocket-sized. I have a couple of others standing in line for testing. I like Coast’s products and getting them on sale is a big bonus. The XP18R is a big light and probably only appropriate for EDC if you’re Larry Daley. There are two other smaller options that will definitely pocket carry and provide plenty of light. There’s also some pens from Rite in the Rain that will keep writing when wet or dirty, perfect for outdoors or working on cars. There’s also a powerbank that looks more like a cantine, but is super rugged.
