There's the [Ram TRX]() and [Ford F-150 Raptor R](), not to mention all the high-performance electric pickups that have hit the road like the [GMC Hummer EV](), [Rivian R1T](), and so on. But these are all pricey, coming in at nearly $100,000 if not a good deal more. That's reason enough to celebrate [TC Customs]()' 2024 [Ford]() F-150 Sleeper builds, which offer 705 hp for right around $45,000. You get a single-cab F-150 XL for the money, fitted with a Roush TVS supercharger and your choice of cloth or vinyl seats. The whole idea is to make a lot of power on a relatively small budget. Each truck sports the 5.0-liter V8 and a 3.73 rear-end along with the XL trim's standard features like a 12-inch digital gauge cluster and Sync 4 infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Some folks might want more luxury, but the sleeper aspect is a big part of why this is so sick. I know you don't see as many anymore but the F-150 XL looks pretty darn basic with its black plastic front grille and halogen headlights. The [2024 model-year trucks]() also get the latest facelift, which looks a little bit like [the Bullnose Fords]() of old if you ask me. ![]() [Ford sells a 700-hp kit from the factory](), but this isn't that. Instead of going with a 3.0-liter Whipple blower like the Blue Oval does, TC Customs in Alabama opts for a 2.65-liter Roush supercharger. The end result is 705 hp and 635 pound-feet of torque, whereas Ford's package makes 700 hp even and 590 pound-feet for $12,350. The big advantage that the Ford kit holds over [TC Customs']() is that it's 50-state legal; TC Customs' isn't as there's no CARB EO number. It's important to note that [a base model 2024 F-150 costs $38,565]() after delivery. If you were to buy one of those and fit the FP700 kit for $12,350 then you'd be in it for nearly $50,000 before installation. TC Customs' F-150 Sleeper builds are listed at $46,998 before tax, title, and doc—including installation. As my grandpa always says, there's more than one way to skin a cat, but if you're most concerned with bang for your buck then this seems like the best option. And before you ask, yes, these F-150 Sleeper models come with a three-year/36,000-mile limited powertrain warranty.
