Here’s $83 Million Worth of Aston Martins Drifting and Doing Donuts

To celebrate Aston Martin's new production facility in St. Athan, Wales, the British automaker has released a cheeky video chock-full of power slides, donuts, and drifts—all executed in more than $83 million worth of historic Aston sheetmetal. Piloting these gorgeous cars are none other than Aston Martin's chief engineer Matt Becker, and Aston Martin racing drivers Nicki Thiim and Darren Turner. Even Andy Palmer, Aston's CEO, makes a cameo towards the end of the video.
In this greatest-hits selection of Astons, everything from the questionable Cygnet (a Toyota iQ with an Aston-designed interior and several Aston Martin-specific touches) to the DB4 GT Zagato, Rapide, and One-77 is thrashed without mercy, laying down massive elevenses all over the once-pristine factory floors. There's even a quick scene of bookend 007 Astons—the iconic, vintage DB5 racing against the new DB10 that starred in "Spectre." The end of the video shows a glimpse of what Aston's future models, including the Valkyrie—may look like.
Aston plans to make 7,000 cars each year at the new St. Athan facility, which will reportedly house 750 employees.
