It looks like Clarkson, May, and Hammond might be the first ones to see just how fast the successor to the Bugatti Veyron can go.

A new video on Michelin's YouTube channel suggests the ex-Top Gear gang of Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond will get to test and review the new Bugatti Chiron, the replacement for the Veyron.

There are a few things that give it away—the title (The Grand Tour - Meet the Bugatti Chiron), the opening credits, and final credits, both of which feature The Grand Tour branding. Throughout the video, there's B-roll of the Chiron being tested and assembled, with some stats thrown in, and ends on a note that seems to invoke a challenge: "Top speed? That's a secret. For now."

Faster, more advanced, and more powerful than the Veyron, the Chiron boasts a quad-turbocharged W-16 8.0-liter engine like its older brother, but manages to eke out 1,500 horsepower—300 more than even the Super Sport, the fastest model of the Veyron. The Chiron's top speed has been limited to just 261 miles per hour on the road; its actual top speed has reportedly not yet been tested.

If our hunch is right, expect to see the Chiron max out on the season finale of The Grand Tour.
