Volvo interior engineering boss Anders Bell has been plucked up by Tesla to help them with their less-than-fancy interiors. Critics have expressed disdain over Tesla's interiors in the past, and the California-based manufacturer is looking to fix that. Having started his career fresh out of Halmstad College’s engineering program in 1998, Bell has been a huge asset for Volvo' it will be interesting to see how the company is affected in the coming years.

Who doesn’t like seeing a car get airborne? This week a YouTuber captured Finnish rally driver Jari-Matti Latvala ripping down snow-covered trails and catching air in the pint-sized Toyota Yaris WRC rally car. Powered by a 1.6-liter inline-four cylinder making 380 horsepower, Toyota is really coming in hot after a 17-year hiatus from World Rally Cross.

This is may be the only time I will say I am thankful for traffic, but NYPD Commissioner of Intelligence and Counterterrorism John Miller makes it sound pretty appealing right now. Miller said the heavily-congested roadways of NYC make it very difficult for potential truck-based attacked to do the same kind of damage we saw in Germany this week. That being said, the NYPD is working overtime to make sure the public remains safe during the holiday season.
