# Watch This Truck Throw Its Driveshaft Into a Crowd

We'll keep this short and sweet: Last Saturday night, at a demolition derby in Heber City, Utah, [a truck threw its driveshaft into the grandstands](<https://www.foxnews.com/us/2016/08/01/caught-on-video-metal-rod-flies-into-stands-at-demolition-derby-3-hurt.html>) 30 rows deep. And the entire incident was caught on camera—from multiple angles.

Miraculously, no one was killed when [the three-foot-long chunk of metal flew into the crowd](<https://bangshift.com/bangshiftxl/insane-video-watch-a-demo-derby-truck-shoot-its-driveshaft-into-the-grandstands-no-one-killed-somehow/>), according to Wasatch County Parks and Recreation director Tom Bonner, although three people were injured and taken to area hospitals.
