# We’ll Finally See the New 2021 Ford Bronco in July

Barring a giant meteor strike, nuclear war, an even bigger pandemic, the sun blowing up, or a zombie apocalypse, we're finally going to see the 2021 Ford Bronco this July.

Ford's North American Product Communications Manager Mike Levine teased the reveal on Twitter today. Ford has not announced a specific date or further details on the Bronco's premiere, but at least we have a rough idea of when we'll see the finished truck.

The Bronco's reveal was delayed from its original March 2020 date due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

This is one of Ford's most [hotly anticipated](<https://www.thedrive.com/news/32627/the-first-ford-bronco-was-almost-named-the-ford-wrangler>) vehicles in years, and we've been left hanging on every leak ever since its original reveal date came and went. We've seen [photos](<https://www.thedrive.com/news/32523/this-might-be-a-photo-of-the-real-2021-ford-bronco>) of it [sitting](<https://www.thedrive.com/news/32541/2021-ford-bronco-heres-a-lot-more-of-it>). Hung breathlessly on every [spy shot](<https://www.thedrive.com/news/32493/here-are-the-2021-bronco-photos-ford-doesnt-want-you-to-see>) of soft tops, roll bars, and rear-mounted spare wheels. Gazed at footage of it [mudding](<https://www.thedrive.com/news/33775/leaked-video-gives-best-look-yet-at-2021-ford-bronco-being-abused-off-road>) to see some differences between the two- and four-door Broncos. Trump [didn't](<https://www.thedrive.com/news/33673/no-ford-did-not-secretly-reveal-the-2021-bronco-to-president-trump-last-week>) see the finished Bronco on his factory tour, but he and the rest of the world got to see that a camouflaged Bronco is slightly taller than the current Ranger. Etcetera, ad nauseum—just show us the truck.

Needless to say, it's good to know when we'll be able to fill in the blanks, but we still don't have solid information on the drivetrain specs. The Bronco is expected to share a 2.3-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder with the Ranger, and may also share a 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6 with the F-150, according to reports. A ten-speed automatic transmission and [seven-speed manual](<https://www.thedrive.com/news/32417/its-looking-like-the-2021-ford-bronco-will-get-a-seven-speed-manual-report>) are the likely transmission choices.

The new Bronco won't go on sale until [2021](<https://www.thedrive.com/news/33500/new-ford-bronco-delayed-to-2021-upcoming-f-150-and-mustang-mach-e-pushed-back-too>) due to pandemic-related production delays, but at least we'll get to see it—*all* of it—before then.

No premiere date has been announced for the smaller 2021 Bronco Sport yet. The [Bronco Sport](<https://www.thedrive.com/news/32517/this-is-the-2021-ford-bronco-sport-completely-uncovered>) was originally set to be revealed in April 2020 but was also delayed because of you know what.
