You've seen the redesigned [2023 Mercedes-Benz GLC](<https://www.thedrive.com/news/2023-mercedes-benz-glc-suv-gets-3k-price-hike-now-starts-at-48250>). Now, get ready for its slopier-roofed sibling: the 2024 [Mercedes-Benz](<https://www.thedrive.com/category/mercedes-news>) GLC Coupe.

Sporting a beltline that's slanted upward and a rear-end design more reminiscent of the brand's two-door cars, the new GLC Coupe is, in Mercedes' own words, the lifestyle model in the company's SUV lineup.

[The GLC's](<https://www.thedrive.com/news/the-2023-mercedes-benz-glc300-doesnt-fix-what-wasnt-broken>) AMG Line appearance and equipment package is standard when you go Coupe. This means 19-inch wheels (20s are an option) and painted fenders. encompasses wireless charging, heated seats, and Burmester 3D audio. Also standard is a 360-degree camera system with a "transparent hood" function, assisted parking, as well as sport suspension featuring a new four-link front, and variable-ratio steering.

Not that many GLC Coupe drivers go off-road very often, but Mercedes has added an off-road drive mode and "Downhill Speed Regulation." Off-road mode turns on the transparent hood camera setting, letting drivers see more obstacles.

Inside, it's all projected on an 11.9-inch infotainment touchscreen accompanied by a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster.

The new Coupe GLC is more aerodynamic and boasts more cargo room than the vehicle it replaces. The car as a whole is also physically bigger than the last GLC Coupe, being 1.2 inches longer, 0.2 inches taller, and running on wider tracks.

In GLC300 4Matic Coupe form, power comes from a 48-volt mild hybrid system paired with a 2.0-liter turbo-four making 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. That hybrid system can add up to 23 hp and 148 lb-ft of additional forward thrust. Zero to 60 mph happens in a Mercedes-estimated 6.2 seconds and the top speed is a perfectly sufficient 130 mph.

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe will hit U.S. dealerships sometime later this year.
