# This Aston Martin V8 Sportsman Shooting Brake Is Hitting the Auction Block

Do you wish you had an Aston with enough room for you, your friend, your hunting dogs and your brace of Holland & Holland over-unders? Well, you or your designated representative better haul ass to the Bonhams Aston Martin auction on May 13th at the [Aston Martin Works Service factory in Newport Pagnell, England](<https://www.bonhams.com/locations/AST/>), so you can [scoop up this British Racing Green beauty of a V8 Sportsman shooting brake](<https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/24119/lot/217/?category=list&length=10&page=19>).

The V8 Sportsman is one of just three such examples in existence. Based on [Aston Martin's brutal V8 Coupe of the 1990s](<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aston_Martin_Virage>), it packs a 330-horsepower eight-cylinder engine, and has just 13,000 miles on the odometer. On the plus side for those of us who live in the sane parts of the world, it's left-hand-drive; on the downside, it's an automatic. It's in impeccable shape inside and out, having been carefully maintained by Aston Martin's Works department in recent years. So even if you happen to [come across another Aston Martin wagon in your travels](<https://www.thedrive.com/vintage/2598/is-this-aston-martin-db6-wagon-the-greatest-shooting-brake-of-all-time>)...it probably won't be as nice.

Bonhams estimates this Aston Martin will go for somewhere between $380,000 and $450,000 when it hits the block next week.
