**Automotive**

[Uber](<https://www.autoblog.com/2016/01/26/uber-using-smartphone-data-bad-drivers/>) plans to use gyroscopes and GPS to determine if a driver is operating in a dangerous manner. The information will be reviewed by Uber only after a customer submits a complaint.

Another day, another luxury SUVs: Spy shots of the [2017 Maserati Levante](<https://www.motorauthority.com/news/1073662_2017-maserati-levante-spy-shots-and-video#image=100543779>) have surfaced. The Italian ute is expected to have two engine options, a 3-liter V6 and a 3.8-liter V8, with the most potent trim producing in excess of 500 horsepower.

**Gear**

[G-Shock and Porter](<https://hypebeast.com/2016/1/porter-g-shock>) have come together to create a new timepiece. It’ll be a limited-edition military style watch, olive drab with camo spots and all the badass adventure qualities we’ve come to expect from these two companies.

Can-Am is now producing a 6x6 called the [Outlander XT](<https://can-am.brp.com/off-road/atv/outlander/outlander-6x6-xt.html>). This ultra-equipped ATV has a massive 700-pound capacity, good for carrying the whole party or one big buck.

**Lifestyle**

[Braxton Brewing Company](<https://www.braxtonbrewing.com/>) is releasing its second canned beer, the [Crank Shaft IPA](<https://www.braxtonbrewing.com/our-beers/crank-shaft/>). Although distribution will be limited to northern Kentucky and Cincinnati, we have a sneaking suspicion you’ll be seeing this one pop up at your next beer trade.
