Is there a time when power tools aren't on sale? Probably not. But the key to getting a deal is watching for the big discounts, like when you can get a Milwaukee combo kit nearly half off. This [Milwaukee M12 kit for $219](<https://homedepot.sjv.io/c/2095194/456723/8154?subId1=TD-RV&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.homedepot.com%2Fp%2FMilwaukee-M12-12V-Lithium-Ion-Cordless-Combo-Kit-5-Tool-with-Two-1-5-Ah-Batteries-Charger-and-Tool-Bag-2498-25H%2F310549979>) has five tools and two batteries and is normally 400 bucks—that's 45% off. Keep in mind it includes two, 1.5AH batteries with a list price of $50 per pack (but I would put a normal street value of about 30 bucks a piece).

That combo kit is the smokiest of smoking deals on Milwaukee so far this week, but it isn't the only great deal in M12 tools. For just $179 you can get an [M12 1/4" impact driver and a soldering iron combo kit](<https://homedepot.sjv.io/c/2095194/456723/8154?subId1=TD-RV&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.homedepot.com%2Fp%2FMilwaukee-M12-FUEL-SURGE-12-Volt-Lithium-Ion-1-4-in-Cordless-Hex-Impact-Driver-Compact-Kit-with-M12-Soldering-Iron-2551-22-2488-20%2F325665540>) that includes two batteries. If you prefer higher-capacity batteries, you can get a [2-pack of 3Ah M12 batteries](<https://acehardware.dttq.net/c/2095194/611504/9988?subId1=TD-RV&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.acehardware.com%2Fdepartments%2Ftools%2Fpower-tool-accessories%2Fcordless-tool-battery-packs%2F2549434>) for $129 and you get to pick a tool to go with them for free.

I know some of you are regularly doing jobs that are a good 50% more challenging than what 12 little volts can tackle. Don't worry, I haven't forgotten the M18 deals. This [M18 FUEL 3/8 in. Cordless Brushless Compact Impact](<https://acehardware.dttq.net/c/2095194/611504/9988?subId1=TD-RV&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.acehardware.com%2Fdepartments%2Ftools%2Fpower-tools%2Fimpact-wrenches%2F2031893>) for $219.00 with free 5Ah battery from Ace Hardware can twist out 250 lb-ft of torque while still being 5 inches long. The 5H battery has a normal list price of $160. This [M18 FUEL SURGE 18V 1/4” Hex Impact Driver](<https://homedepot.sjv.io/c/2095194/456723/8154?subId1=TD-RV&u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.homedepot.com%2Fp%2FMilwaukee-M18-FUEL-SURGE-18V-Lithium-Ion-Brushless-Cordless-1-4-in-Hex-Impact-Driver-with-XC-5-0-Ah-Battery-2760-20-48-11-1850%2F320729952>) is 47% off for $169.00 and includes one of those 5Ah batteries as well.

Some of you are wondering, "Why is Febbo writing about Milwaukee? Hank's the Grand Poobah of the Red Tool Appreciation Society at *The Drive*." It's true, his writing resume is indeed full of a melange of Milwaukee: [Gen II M12 Stubby Impact Wrench Hands-on Review](<https://www.thedrive.com/news/milwaukee-gen-ii-m12-stubby-impact-wrench-hands-on-review>), [M18 Fuel 1/2-inch High-Torque Impact Hands-on Review](<https://www.thedrive.com/guides-and-gear/hands-on-revew-milwaukee-m18-high-torque-impact-wrench>), or this [M12 Bandfile Review](<https://www.thedrive.com/guides-and-gear/review-milwaukees-m12-bandfile-is-a-no-brainer>) but he's on vacation. Y'all are stuck with me, so let's go.
