Yeah, we’re laying it on thick when it comes to free battery deals on power tools. Between Ryobi, Milwaukee, and DeWalt posts, we’ve been spamming the feed with them. Why wouldn’t we, though? The batteries are what makes buying into power tool ecosystems expensive. And with the big three all competing for your money by tossing them in for free, now’s the perfect time to start up or enhance the collection of your choice.

A few tools we’ve tested are on the menu, too. Starting with yellow ones, Lowe’s is letting the DeWalt XR 20-volt Max 1/2-inch drive cordless impact wrench go for $249.00 with a free 5Ah battery tossed in the mix. I tested this out a while back, and it’s definitely a solid performer. Maybe not the latest and most powerful impact wrench, but 800 foot-pounds of breakaway torque is nothing to scoff at.

If you’re after serious grunt, you can snatch up the Milwaukee M18 FUEL 1/2-inch impact wrench for $299.00 at Home Depot. It comes with a free 5Ah battery as well. This is a touch beefier than the model I tested and is an absolute monster. If you’re not careful, 1,600 foot-pounds of breakaway torque might flip your whole car over.
