This week, Consumer Reports threatened to downgrade the Tesla Model S's sterling rating unless the company disabled its Auto Pilot feature, which has been involved in several accidents. In England, Jaguar Land Rover is itself getting into the autonomous fray, with a promise to produce 100 research vehicles over the next four years, to be tested around a 41-mile loop near the company's headquarters. Finally, in what might be a final, primal scream of the naturally-aspirated V12, Aston Martin released the AM-RB 001, an Adrian Newey-designed hypercar with a motor that revs to 11,000 rpm.
