The Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe is a crossover in the truest sense of the word. It takes the design of a planted sports car and places it on a hefty frame in hopes to give it ultimate versatility. Does it actually work that way? Let Mercedes try to convince you themselves.

It's a real shot at hitting a broad customer base, especially in the American market. We love our identity-plagued large vehicles, ones that trick us into thinking that we care about going quick while maintaining the ground clearance to scale rocks and steep inclines -- but this Merc *could* actually do both of those things. They've proveen they can do it with their [AMG GLA 45](<https://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehicles/model/class-GLA/model-GLA45W4>), and the same may carry over to the GLC.

The GLC does, in fact, blend the things that we like most. With it, you gain the level of interior we've come to expect from the brand with unique yet handsome design. It will haul a ton of stuff in the trunk without sacrificing passenger space and, in the end, kind of *works.* Pricing starts at $45,950, putting it in a competitive class of similar utes.

This quick clip shows you the GLC's hopeful strong suits. Blasting down a B-Road in the hills on the way to your next adventure. What do you think of the German crossover?
